Purpose of OSHA 30 Hour Safety Course

 Workplace safety is something that cannot be ignored. While it is important for the workers to ensure their own safety, their employers have an obligation to provide useful instruction and guidance enabling the workforce to stay safe regardless of the challenges. He Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has several regulatory standards in place that must be followed by employees, supervisors, and employers to prevent mishaps at the workplace. The entry-level workers are advised to take the OSHA 10 hour safety course.

Students who want to undergo the safety training focused on general industry risks also include 7 hours for mandatory topics and 2 hours on electives, which include the following: -

This particular safety course lasts for 10 hours of instruction. The student may complete it over two days and take the final test to complete the safety training course.

It is interesting to learn that the training course is divided into 10 modules. The student needs to complete at least 7 of the module quizzes to be eligible for the final test. The student has to score at least 70% in the final test to be successful.

While the student may obtain a temporary certificate after completing the test, the final certificate/card will be mailed to the successful students by the Department of Labor (DOL)
