The bulldozer operators do not have to miss work to take the OSHA training, either. Instead, they are welcome to sign up for the online course that lasts for 1.5 hours. The course is devised to ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1910.178(l) & 29 CFR 1926.602(d) standards.

Successfully completing the dozer operator course will enable an individual to qualify as a bulldozer operator. The successful students will be tested on their knowledge about operating a bulldozer, which will help them qualify for practical observation related to bulldozer safety operations.

There are no prerequisites or qualifying factors for the students who aspire to be bulldozer operators. Knowledge of English is mandatory as the course and test will be conducted in English. The test must be taken at the end of the course. The students must score 80% or higher to pass the test. A certificate of completion can then be printed out and submitted to the employer. This will help the students progress to the next stage, i.e., the practical observation of safe operations.
